Training

Training within organisations and governments provides a platform to engage and learn new skills that can be used within the workplace. Training is not something new; we are always training ourselves in different areas and refreshing current knowledge. What is new is that for individuals, organisations, and governments to become more sustainable and training will need to frequently take place. At times we may be introduced to new vocabulary, terms we may have not known before, such as decarbonisation and Net-Zero. In-order to be able to become more sustainable, training and support will be vital. It is not to say you do not conduct wonderful work; however it will be beneficial to re-skill and refresh our skills in the light of sustainability and climate change.

We provide training in a number of forms including senior executive/leadership and management training, bespoke training on  sustainability themes and also carbon literacy training.

Carbon Literacy Training

Carbon literacy is the awareness of carbon dioxide emissions, its costs, and its impact on activities. This includes discussing the ability and motivation to reduce emissions for your organisation, communities, and teams. Through the training and certification process individuals, organisations, and governments can learn about climate change and become empowered to become agents of change in their roles and organisations.

Training sessions and programmes

We provide a host of training sessions and programmes on key sustainability topics such as sustainable supply chains or equality, as well as diversity and inclusion. Our training service can be delivered 1-2-1 between our trainer and your selected candidate, or through group training sessions including workshops. We are flexible, providing virtual and site-based training to meet your needs. Our trainers are able to provide deep insight into sustainability topics and are able to build rapport with individuals and collectively with the groups and present a safe and enjoyable space for learning and empowerment.

Senior leadership/Executive and management

We have to admit, we have learnt over the years the role of leadership/executive and management within governments and organisations is vital in pursuit of sustainability and combatting climate change. Such individuals and senior teams will need to make some deep and radical decisions in the coming years and decades. That is why we offer training specifically to cater to these needs. Leaders need to be deeply connected with today and the demands of a brighter, greener, fairer tomorrow. We provide training in sustainable leadership and decision making to enable leaders to steer their ship today and feel equipped for tomorrow.
